Matthew Fox Talks Lost Season 4

Talking with Entertainment Weekly, "Lost" actor Matthew Fox revealed a few revealing details about what to expect for the mystery drama's upcoming fourth season beginning January 31st.

Originally slated to be sixteen episodes, the show has been truncated to just eight due to the writer's strike. So what will happen to the other eight? "We're not sure if we're going to come back and do more this [season]. The audience only getting eight would really be a bummer. But I'm optimistic."

Much of the season will be dealing with the repercussions of last year's season finale - most notably the 'flash forward' in which we saw Jack and Kate getting off the island. Does this mean others get off as well?

"That's the question for the first part of this year, for sure. Jack gets people off that island, [and] suddenly he and the other people are very well-known -- it becomes this massive story because everybody thought that every person on this plane was lost.... Who are they? What is everybody else doing? Jack's mission was to get all of them off. It's the overriding force behind him. So, the fact that he ends up getting off and doesn't get that accomplished -- I'm very curious to find out how that all goes down. And part of that is going to be part of the reason why he wanted to jump off the bridge in the future" says Fox. Read More here.

A lot of people have lost faith in Lost, i have to claim to not be one of them. If you are like me and still have a burning passion to find out what has gone on or what IS! going on then head over to this site to watch them all online.

Its a shame that the news of a possible 8 episode season and then a long year and 2 month wait for the other 8 episodes of season 4 is rumoured. Lets hope it isn't so, but i agree that the writers deserve more.

McFarlane's Jin Lost Figure

Inspired.

McFarlane's Sawyer Lost Figure

Inspired by Season 1, Episode 20, "Born to Run", Sawyer stands on the doomed raft he helped to build.

McFarlane's LOST Series 2 features these choice castaways:

* Sawyer
* Mr. Eko
* Jin
* Sun

As with Series 1, these figures will feature sound clips taken directly from the TV show's soundtrack, custom bases and photo backdrops.

Look for LOST Series 2 figures to arrive in stores in July.

Lost Move Hurts Ratings

Darkhorizons report: A later time slot and fan frustration over ABC's "Lost" is seeing the hit show undergoing the inevitable erosion that comes with serials that drag out the action too long.

Wednesday's 10pm episode pulled in 12.8 million viewers, down two million viewers from last week's return from a three-month hiatus, and a new series low for the show.

Whilst much of the audience, including myself, remain very loyal to the show - the inevitable frustration over the fact that mysteries simply aren't being answered or dragged out too long are taking their toll.

Whilst the producers talked of setting an end point for the series last month, no further word on when such an end point will occur has been discussed.

It also means the show joins the club alongside Desperate Housewives and Battlestar Galactica as third season serials suffering in the ratings, despite better notices for their content this year than their previous seasons.

Doctor Fox is dead? Well the rumours continue

E! Online have posted an interview with Lost creator and co-producer Damon Lindelof responding to talk of Mathew Fox's Jack characters rumoured death. He said "This is the most insane rumor regarding Lost to date. The fact that you think we might do it is incredibly flattering". We heard that last season and the person in question died, so all we can do is speculate. I think the island needs a doctor, everyone gets ill sometimes.... don't they?

Producer wants Sawyer for Gambit

In a recent interview for IESB.net Lauren Shuler Donner talked about up and coming projects including Wolverine, Magnito, Constantine and X-Men.

One of the highlights for all us Lost fans is that she is still very keen on having Gambit played by Josh Holloway (aka Sawyer from Lost) in one of the next X-Men Films.

Here's what she said.

ESB: Will we ever see Gambit?

LSD: Probably, you know, the reason we didn't use Gambit was because in a sense his persona is a bit like Wolverine in that he's got attitude and his power is not quite as exciting as the others. That's why we went to Nightcrawler on 2 because he looked different than everybody else and he had a great power. So yes, I think we would weave Gambit within our story, it wouldn't be “The Gambit Movie.” I mean, I love him and remember in “Lost” the guy, what's his name, there was a guy in there that was the perfect Gambit, the guy with the straight hair, good-looking, the bad boy, Sawyer, Sawyer [Josh Holloway]. (A lot of Lost forums have been buzzing about this casting rumor for some time).
