McFarlane's Sawyer Lost Figure
Inspired by Season 1, Episode 20, "Born to Run", Sawyer stands on the doomed raft he helped to build.
McFarlane's LOST Series 2 features these choice castaways:
* Sawyer
* Mr. Eko
* Jin
* Sun
As with Series 1, these figures will feature sound clips taken directly from the TV show's soundtrack, custom bases and photo backdrops.

NECA reveal Sao Feng
NECA has released this image of one of their upcoming figures from their line based on Pirates of the Caribbean 3's new baddie: Captain Sao Feng...
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is the third part of the trilogy initiated by the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and followed by the 2006 film Dead Man's Chest. At World's End is directed by Gore Verbinski, the director of the previous two films. The film's cast includes returnees Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, Bill Nighy, Geoffrey Rush, and Jack Davenport. Kotobukiya Grab Halo License
Excellent news... Kotobukiya announces a new partnership with Microsoft Game Studios and Bungie Studios in order to produce collectibles based on the best-selling video game franchise.
Kotobukiya will release at a series of ARTFX Statues (12” tall vinyl figural statues) throughout 2007, featuring characters from Halo 1 & 2, as well as the eagerly anticipated Halo 3. Renowned for amazing sculpting, painting, and design, the Tokyo based company will endeavor to produce high-end merchandise for the discriminating Halo collector.
Hiruma, Deputy Chief of Kotobukiya’s Planning Division said, “We are honored to be able to work on such an incredible game. We are confident that the fans will like our stylish interpretations of the Spartans and other characters of the Halo universe!”
In order to ensure the highest possible level or accuracy and detail, all goods will be fully approved and authorized by the game creators of Bungie Studios. The Halo ARTFX Statues will be available on a worldwide basis, with character line up and release dates to be announced in the coming months.
”It’s our great pleasure to collaborate with the talented sculptors, painters and artists at Kotobukiya, and a true joy to see our favorite characters and creatures captured in this unique medium,” said Brian Jarrard of Bungie Studios.

2007 is the year action figures go back to their roots
Having just got back from Toy Fair in London i have to say that 2007 will be a great year for toys. The Corgi International / Cards Inc. action figure line of Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix and the Golden Compass look to be going back to their roots, 3& 3/4 inch scale baby!
What is awesome about these ranges is there play-ability, yes they come with playsets, something Hasbro have let star wars fans down with for many years, the main attraction and Christmas toy of the year WILL be the Hogwarts Great Hall Playset, you will not believe how beautiful this toy is. Harry Potter fans of all ages are in for a treat.
The Golden Compass Lord Asriel figure played by Daniel Craig !!!IS!!! Daniel Craig, we thought the Albus Dumbledore figure was the best sculpt we had seen at this scale from the online previews, but Lord Asriel is better, James Bond figures anyone?

NECA & the order of the Phoenix
NECA have showcased their new figures from the next Harry Potter film, the Order of the Phoenix, they are very detailed and quite well sculpted but i have to ask the question, are these right for a US toy line? i mean they don't look like they can even move let alone be played with. I'm concerned these toys will not have the longevity as the excellent Cards Inc. range.
